The purpose of the Health Assessment is to baseline an employee’s heath and identify any health issues which could affect the health and well-being of an employee within the workplace and to identify any measures which can be put in place to minimise the effect. Evidence suggests healthy employees have a more fulfilling work life balance.
The Health Assessment is used to assess an employee’s fitness to carry out all aspects of their job role, or to determine any reasonable adjustments, that may be necessary if they have a pre – existing health condition, or any health condition which is likely to come under the terms of the Equality Act 2010.
UK Screening Solutions have a team of highly experienced Occupational Health Physicians, Advisors, Nurses, Technician, Physiotherapists, and Counsellors available to support our client’s occupational health programme based at our clinics. We can also visit a client’s site with one of our purpose built mobile medical units to provide a wide range of health surveillance or assessments to minimise any disruption to the client’s business and employee production.

We will advise you of pertinent European directives and UK Occupational Health/HSE laws and regulations.
Our OH team will work alongside inhouse health and safety professionals, and you can be confident that your company will benefit from the very best occupational health practices. The Health Assessment questionnaire consists of an initial set of industry standard questions to establish previous heath conditions or illness that may affect the employee’s ability to perform the specified job role, which is assessed by a Nurse. If necessary, an appointment may be arranged either with an Occupational Health Specialist Practitioner or an Occupational Health Physician.
Our occupational health assessments will cover industry standards best practices and the industries regulations such as, any HSE regulations or HSE health surveillance guidance, COSHH, Noise at Work Regulations, Working-Time Directive, CLAW regulations. The assessment report will identify if an employee’s is Fit to Work on their specified job role and provide any recommendations or reasonable adjustments that will assess the employee within the workplace to the employer with the consent of the employee
